Local Recruitment & Training

Northern Renewable Group acknowledges that local employment is the cornerstone of our business with our commitment to recruiting within the region for all short-term contracts and full-time positions. We proactively recruit and train local people as tradesmen and apprentices on an ongoing basis at various stages of their development. All employees are recruited locally, live locally, and continue to support the community by means of transferable skills and future employment. Northern Renewable Group recruits from a range of sources from local agencies through to community engagement initiatives.

Work Experience Programs & Community Events

Our local community commitment does not stop with only employment. Northern Renewable Group has an established relationship with a range of schools and organisations and is actively involved in the job ready and work experience programs for school-based children. These programs have provided return employees for short term contracts and stability in sourcing experienced reliable short-term employees for projects in the local area.

Northern Renewable Group is also a proud sponsor for a range of local community organisations/events in and around Katherine and throughout the Northern Territory consisting of but not limited to sporting events, community events and are aligned with a range of pivotal business boards throughout the NT.
